László Rajk's series entitled MISSING… pays personal tribute to the Absence. The object of the draughtsman's tribute has disappeared from his canvas. To preserve it, he has no choice but to use the ancient frottage technique of Japanese fishermen, rendering the canvas so as to make the missing phenomena – or rather its absence – visible.
